Eglwys Cwyfan is situated on a tiny islet a few miles along the coast from Aberffraw on Ynys Môn. Time and tide have eroded the peninsula on which the 12th century church was built and left it stranded in the sea. It can be approached via a narrow causeway. Julian has sought to echo the rhythm of the sea in both the flowers and sky.
