Although not strictly on the route of the Taith Ardudwy, the burial chamber at Cors-y-Gedol is worth the slight detour. One way, the view shows the open end of the dolmen looking directly at Moelfre, over which some believe the constellation Cassiopeia would have risen in Neolithic times. In the opposite direction, the wide sweep of Cardigan Bay and the Llyn Peninsula. The nearby woods are full of signs of prehistoric life, subject to recent survey by Heneb.
