“This impressive burial chamber on the side of the ancient pathway and drover’s road, dates back to the Bronze Age. Research suggests that the cairn was constructed so that the capstone aligned with Molfre, the 2,000 peak to the Northwest. It is said that in 4,000 BCE the constellation Cassiopeia ascended behind Molfre at the Winter Solstice.”
