Kilburn White Horse

On Sutton Bank in Yorkshire near to the small village of Kilburn lies the most northerly White Horse in the UK. It was designed and financed by a local businessman Thomas Taylor in 1857 and cut into the hillside by the school master John Hodgson with the help of his pupils and locals.
