SOLD - Pont Scethin
Pont Scethin is situated on the site of an old Bronze Age track through the Rhinogydd mountains. It is believed that Druids worshipped at the sight using the stones of the bridge as an alter.
Later the path became part of the Harlech to London route and was used by drovers and travellers until the 1760’s when Pont Fadog was built downstream giving travellers a less boggy and safer route South.
Although it is a relatively small bridge, it is visible from some distance and its quiet presence easily dominates the barren and wild landscape.
