A short walk onwards to the Cardeddau Hengwm burial chambers which are regarded as probably the most significant and impressive prehistoric sites in the old county of Meirioneth.
 
Slightly further north from here is the iron age hillfort of Pen y Dinas.
 
Taith fer ymhellach mae siambrau claddu Cardeddau Hengwm sy'n cael eu hystyried yn ôl pob tebyg y safleoedd cynhanesyddol mwyaf arwyddocaol a thrawiadol yn hen sir Feirionnydd.
