The Cors y Gedol cromlech known as Arthur’s Quoit is located on the edges of the Cors y Gedol woodlands. The capstone points to the peak of Moelfre held up by a single standing stone. The unusual siting has given rise to the story that it was flung here by some hero of epic strength and in this case the legend that is King Arthur.
