The crow pauses on a rock near Pont Scethin Bridge
Sue Rundle Hughes
The crow pauses on a rock near Pont Scethin Bridge, listening to the gentle babble of the Afon Ysgethin.
I was drawn to its history and isolated position of Pont Scethin Bridge, which sits quietly within the landscape and marks a crossing point along the route. I could imagine the old drovers walking over it on their journeys.

Mae'r frân yn oedi ar graig ger Pont Sgethin, gan wrando ar furmur addfwyn Afon Ysgethin.
Cefais fy nenu at ei hanes a'i lleoliad ynysig, yn nodi man croesi’r llwybr yn nhawelwch y tir. Gallwn ddychmygu'r hen borthmyn yn cerdded drosti ar eu hynt.
