Rob Thompson

Rob is a Welsh born artist and architectural designer. He studied at CAT (Centre for Alternative Technology) in Machynlleth. 

His subject is vernacular buildings and the landscapes of the celtic regions including Scotland, Ireland and of his native Wales. 

A keen walker, Rob spends much time in the mountains and along the coast exploring and sketching abandoned buildings, using line and wash to express the mood and importance of recording them.
